Grade points used
A equals 4.0, A- is 3.7, B+ is 3.3, B is 3.0, and so on down to F at 0. Your GPA is the sum of grade points times credits, divided by the total credits.

What is a good GPA?
On a 4.0 scale, 3.0 is solid, 3.5 and above is strong, and 3.7 or higher is usually honors level.
Is this weighted or unweighted?
This is an unweighted 4.0 GPA. Weighted GPAs add extra points for honors or AP courses, which this tool does not change.
